Chocolat

Following the sold-out performance in February 2026, “Chocolat” returns to the MiR – an enchanting fairy tale for adults, a classic screwball comedy with rousing live music in the style of Django Reinhardt: A young, single mother opens a pâtisserie on the church square of a small village in the south of France – a little temple to the finest chocolates. For the village priest, this kind of ‘temptation’ is utterly unacceptable. He strictly forbids the members of his congregation from having any dealings with the young woman – and becomes her greatest adversary.
