Zicong Han

The Chinese lyric tenor Zicong Han came to Germany in 2023 to pursue his singing career and began his Master’s degree in opera at the Berlin University of the Arts in the class of Prof. Joshua Whitener, which he will complete in October 2025.
During his studies, he performed in numerous concerts and took part in an opera production at the Berlin University of the Arts in 2024. He also gained stage experience as a guest performer in an opera production at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music.
His repertoire comprises primarily works by Mozart and from the bel canto repertoire, including roles such as Tamino (The Magic Flute) and Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni). He has already worked with renowned artists such as the conductor Markus Stenz and the director Michael Höppner. From the 2025/26 season, he will be a member of the NRW Opera Studio.
