Tilla Foljanty

Tilla Foljanty, a native of Berlin, joined the theatre in 2008. After holding various positions both in Germany and abroad, and spending more than 10 years as a project manager in event management within the international industrial sector – as well as gaining training and experience in the hospitality industry and the skilled trades – Tilla Foljanty followed her desire to move from the audience side to behind the scenes at the opera.

Since 2010, she has been a stage manager for musical theatre, initially at the Theater Bonn, where, in addition to opera and musical productions on the main stage, she supervised productions at the Alter Malersaal in Beuel and the Bundeskunsthalle Bonn. As part of the International Handel Festival in Göttingen, Tilla Foljanty worked as a production manager and stage manager from 2015 to 2022, staging seven productions at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen. Since 2021, she has been working as a freelance stage manager across all disciplines and has already supported the Heidelberg Theatre, the Dortmund Ballet, the Oldenburg State Theatre, the Magdeburg Opera, the Cologne Opera, the Aachen Theatre, the Münster Theatre and the Lucerne Theatre. In autumn 2022, she took on her first role as stage manager at the Musiktheater im Revier in Gelsenkirchen for the Dance Company’s production of ‘Aurora’.
