He frequently works collaboratively and in a process-oriented manner. With ‘GeOrgel’, Stefan Demming has recently developed a polyphonic wall-unit installation relating to the neighbourhood of Gelsenkirchen-Ückendorf. He has also curated a cultural programme for these locations. Since 2013, he has been working with performative inflatable sculptures in public spaces. Upcycling as a method is increasingly at the heart of his artistic practice. Alongside his creative work, he trained as a teacher and taught at various secondary schools and universities in Germany and abroad from 2015 to 2021.
