Meret König

Meret König uses all pronouns and is 25 years old. Meret lives in the Ruhr region and, since graduating from the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen with a degree in Physical Theatre (2024), has been working across the disciplines of theatre, choreography, scenography and digital arts. In her work with post-digitality, Meret is interested in technologies and media that shape everyday life between IRL (in real life) and online worlds. Meret strives for atmospheric intensity, humorous exaggeration and a personal, poetic physical language. Meret works as part of the Sticky Fragments collective and as a freelance performer in various guest engagements.
