Lisa Maria Laccisaglia

Choir Singer

Lisa Maria Laccisaglia was born in Weingarten in 1977 and is of German-Italian descent. Her musical and vocal talent was recognised whilst she was still at school and nurtured by Lil-Dahlin Novak, resulting in Lisa Maria Laccisaglia being awarded first prize three times at the national ‘Jugend Musiziert’ competition. In the years that followed, she also won prizes in Age Group B at the national competition in Berlin. The young singer has since completed a degree in singing under Norma Sharp at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin, graduating with a diploma in June 2005. Lisa Maria Laccisaglia successfully attended masterclasses with Renata Scotto, Hans Hotter and Silvana Bartoli-Bazzoni, the mother and teacher of Cecilia Bartoli. It is to this artistic encounter that Lisa Laccisaglia owes her exceptional coloratura skills. She has already performed her first leading roles on stage, including Hero in *Beatrice and Benedict*, Musetta in *La Bohème*, Susanna in *Le Nozze di Figaro*, and Pamina in *The Magic Flute* for children at the Theatre in Münster. From 2006 to 2011, she worked as a freelancer in Münster and at the Cologne Chamber Opera, and since August 2012 she has been a member of the opera chorus at the Theater im Revier (MIR) in Gelsenkirchen.
