Gabriele Ernesti

Gabriele Ernesti, from Gelsenkirchen, began her musical career by learning to play several instruments as a child. She later went on to study music theory and receive private vocal training. She now has a wealth of experience as a chorister and soloist, both in musicals – she sang for five years in ‘Starlight Express’ in Bochum, amongst other roles – and in church music and opera. Since 1978, she has made regular guest appearances at the Musiktheater im Revier, most recently as the Lover in “Evita” and as Luigia in “Viva la Mamma”, and has been a member of the opera choir since September 2001.
