Eloy Cojal Mestre

Eloy Cojal Mestre is a Catalan dancer with a background in street dance and contemporary dance. He studied at ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem, where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in dance. He joined Shechter II, part of the Hofesh Shechter Company, with whom he toured Europe. This earned him a nomination for Best Male Dancer at the 17th Catalan Critics’ Awards. He has also collaborated with choreographers such as Liam Francis, Carla Sisteré, Adam Khazmuradov, Simon Bus and Alesya Dobysh. As a choreographer, he created a solo piece for himself entitled ‘KEVLAR’ and a duet with Pep Herrero called ‘MANIA’. He has also led his own workshops in countries including Spain, Estonia, England, Italy and Austria.

From the 26/27 season onwards, he has been a member of TanzGelsenkirchen.
