Dirk Lansing

Dirk Lansing, who was born in Gelsenkirchen, had already been working at the MiR since the end of 2000 – following his A-levels and community service – initially as a lighting technician. In 2004, he successfully completed his training as an events technology specialist, specialising in sound. Since then, he has been a member of the MiR sound department and has worked on numerous opera, musical and ballet productions, including “Eichbaumoper”, “On the Town”, “Linie 1” and “Fifty-Fifty, die Wunschkonzertshow”. Among other things, he created the sound design for productions such as “The Rocky Horror Show” (2016) and “The Wizard of Oz” (2015).
