Annika Steinkamp

Annika Steinkamp, who was born and raised on the outskirts of the Ruhr region, studied musical theatre at the Berlin University of the Arts until 2023 and received funding as a scholarship holder from the German National Academic Foundation and the German Theatre Association. Her engagements have taken her, amongst other places, to the Saarländisches Staatstheater as Chava in ‘Anatevka’ (directed by Gil Mehmert, choreography by Bart de Clercq) and as Bonnie Parker in “Bonnie & Clyde” at the 65th Gandersheim Cathedral Festival (dir: Sandra Wissmann, chore: Dominik Müller). In the summer of 2024, she developed the role of Brünhild for the workshop presentation of the musical “EPOS” (music by Zoe Straub) in Vienna. Alongside her work on stage, Annika has been working as a freelance production manager and assistant director since 2017.
