What happens when grand opera and computer game mechanics collide in a fairy-tale world? And what if power games and the propagation of idiosyncratic truths were practised there as a matter of course? Prince Tamino has reached a new level. On behalf of the Queen of the Night, he is tasked with rescuing the kidnapped Pamina from the clutches of the villain Sarastro. Unaware of what lies ahead, he finds himself in a world full of trials, magic and opposing forces. With the help of the Magic Flute and accompanied by his rather reluctant companion Papageno, he attempts to find his way in an intolerant system full of trials, manipulation and political (self-)theatricity – a game whose rules are constantly changing.
