The city is our stage! stattWerkSTADT is MiR.LAB’s participatory ‘out-into-the-city’ initiative. This time, the city of Schalke is set to become a stage. We’re looking for people who’d like to help develop an immersive theatre piece from the very beginning and stage it at the end of June. stattWerkSTADT is taking over a derelict building in Schalke and, step by step, transforming it into a fantasy world with its own rules, into which the audience can then immerse themselves. Together, we’ll write, create stories and improvise. From April onwards, you can also help out in craft workshops with costume-making and set construction, or decorate a space with your own artwork. You must be aged 14 or over to take part; no prior experience is required. Participation is free of charge.
