NORMA in Rotthausen

MiR.LAB is staging its first opera workshop in an urban setting: NORMA in Rotthausen. Armed with Bellini’s opera NORMA – centred on the great druidess – we’re heading to the NORMA supermarket in Gelsenkirchen’s southernmost district. We’re convinced that theatre thrives on its audience, and that we ourselves are the real stars of the opera. That’s why we need you to seek out the magic and music surrounding NORMA in Rotthausen and blend them together at MiR.LAB to create a unique potion. Joining us: the Rotthausen Singers’ Association, the Protestant Youth musical group, the drum group Les Djembistes and many more. Together, we’ll buy ingredients for the magic potion, share our music, sing in a choir with an artificial intelligence, and write our new NORMA, Rotthausen edition. It’s going to be magical.
