Mini Tech Jam 2025

Experience the intersection of theatre and technology and build a ‘Wired Wilderness’ in the centre of Gelsenkirchen. In our first mini-hackathon at MiR.LAB, you’ll develop interactive scenes using HTC Vive sensors. In small groups – organised according to your prior experience – you’ll work with others to programme and test scenic set-ups. Whether you’re a theatre maker, a tech enthusiast or a coding pro, everyone is welcome! We’ll start with a short introductory workshop, after which we’ll get straight down to the creative work. We’ll be using Unreal Engine and TouchDesigner. Please bring: a laptop and a 3-button mouse (if you have one) The workshop will be held in English and German.
