How does drag work? And can I have a go? We’ll be exploring the topic with drag queen Ms Foxy Bless. In this two-day drag workshop, we’ll be doing make-up, styling, transforming ourselves and lip-syncing. Where does drag come from, and what messages does it convey? The workshop offers an introduction to the art of drag and its community. We’ll take the time to experiment. Bring along your favourite song and, with a little help, transform yourself step by step into the icon you’ve always wanted to be. No prior experience is needed. Costumes and make-up will be provided. However, you’re welcome to bring your own clothes and make-up. Come as you are. Whether as a drag king, drag queen or drag artist!
