AKE DIKHEA, Gelsenkirchen?

POPCORN, WORKSHOP, GET-TOGETHER! AKE DIKHEA? is an international festival featuring films by and starring Roma* and Sinti*. The festival showcases the world from their perspective and explores how they see themselves and how they want to be seen. On 18 December, the festival’s short film programme is coming to Gelsenkirchen! Six films turn common stereotypes about ‘gangs’ of Sinti* and Roma* on their heads. Ake dikhea? Well, there you go! We’re screening the films exclusively at the Kulturraumstation meyer56 in Rotthausen. BALKAN BEATZ WORKSHOP WITH DenorecorDS! In this hands-on workshop with DenorecorDS and MiR.LAB, you’ll learn how to mix your own Balkan Beatz and produce a music video to go with them. DenorecorDS will show you the tricks of the trade to make the beats sound exactly how you want them to. MiR.LAB will reveal which digital tools you can use to have any star you like sing your song. With the AI software suno AI and Wav2Lip, it’s all a piece of cake. Bring your smartphone along!
